Blue and White Ribbons Pop Up Around Woodridge

The ribbons symbolize support for police.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Woodridge residents have accepted an invitation to display blue and white ribbons on trees and in yards in support of police officers.

The village asks residents to show off their ribbons from July 28 to Aug. 1, in conjunction with an Ecumenical Blue and White Service, set for 4:30 p.m. July 28 outside Village Hall at Kagann Plaza.
