Body Of Missing Woodridge Woman Found In Water Near Home

According to the Woodridge Police Department, the body of Julie Lee, 47, was found in a body of water connected to the DuPage River.

WOODRIDGE, IL — A Woodridge woman reported missing Wednesday was found dead Saturday by a search team consisting of the Woodridge Police Department, Lisle-Woodridge Fire Department and the Naperville Police Department Evidence Recovery Unit, Woodridge police said in a news release. According to the police department, the body of 47-year-old Julie Lee was found in a body of water connected to the east branch of the DuPage River near her Woodridge home.

The Woodridge Police Department is investigating Lee's death with the DuPage County Coroner's Office, according to the news release.

Police said Wednesday that Lee had a medical condition that could put her in danger.
