Boerman Moving and Storage Named Bekins Van Lines Agent of the Year

Boerman Moving & Storage, Inc. was recently awarded Bekins Van Lines Agent of the Year at the Bekins’ 61st Annual Partnership Conference in Tampa, FL.
The award is given to the top interstate agent for Bekins Van Lines that exemplifies putting customers first and the characteristics of quality, professionalism, empathy for customers, fellow agents, drivers and van line employees.

Part of the honor included a cash award which Boerman Moving and Storage donated upon receipt to Give Kids The World, one of the charities the company has actively supported over the years.
Boerman Moving & Storage is in its fourth generation of family ownership serving the Chicago area and will be celebrating its 90th year in business in 2016. In 2001, the company expanded into Woodridge with 42,000 square feet of warehouse space. Boerman Moving joined the Bekins agent system in 1995, and has earned numerous awards for sales and hauling.
In 2012 and 2014, Boerman Moving & Storage received the Bekins Total Quality Commitment (TQC) award for outstanding performance in several categories, including packing claims, hauling claims, warehouse claims, safety, estimating and customer service ratings. In addition to several Bekins awards, Boerman Moving’s Intermittent Fleet Driver, Artisteo Castillo, earned American Moving & Storage’s Super Van Operator Rookie of the Year in 2014.
