WOODRIDGE, IL — Groot Inc. will collect Christmas trees from homes in Woodridge for recycling once January begins.

Live trees that are up to six feet tall are eligible for the free pickup and no stickers will be required. To ensure collection:

  • Remove lights, tinsel, garland, ornaments and other decorations from your tree
  • Do not place trees in plastic bags

Garland and wreaths will not be collected during these pickup days, which are set to take place Jan. 3 through Jan. 13.
