Cunningham Sworn in as Woodridge Chief of Police

Chief Cunningham has been in the law enforcement career for 30 years.

Brian Cunningham was sworn in as Woodridge’s new Chief of Police Thursday, Nov. 3 at the latest Woodridge Village Board meeting.

Cunningham, who’s had a three-decade career in law enforcement so far, left the Naperville Police Department to take the position of chief in Woodridge. He most recently served as a deputy chief directing the Investigations Department in Naperville.

According to the Village, Village employees and board members, Cunningham’s family members, Woodridge police officers and others attended the swearing-in, which took place in the Werch Board Room at Woodridge Village Hall.
