Entries Open for 7th Annual Gingerbread House Contest

Submitted by the Downtown Downers Grove Management Corporation.

Show off your Holiday spirit and creativity in the Downtown Downers Grove Gingerbread House Contest during the “The Gingerbread Festival” Nov. 27-29!

Two winners (Viewer Choice & Elves Choice) per category will receive $50 in Downtown Downers Grove Gift Certificates.

Entries are welcome in three divisions, Family/Individual/Children, Business Division and a Professional/Culinary Student.

Voting will take place at participating businesses as well as at downtowndg.org. Winners in each division will be chosen by Viewers Choice and Elves Choice during “The Gingerbread Festival, Nov. 27-Nov. 29. The Gingerbread Houses will remain on display in Downtown Downers Grove participating businesses through Dec. 14.

Entry forms are available at downtowndg.org/files/assets/gingerbreadhousecontest.pdf and are due in to Downers Grove Downtown Management by Nov. 2 at 5pm at 933A Curtiss Street.

Family Division: Open to families, individuals, Scout Troops, etc.

Professional Division/Culinary Division: Show off your creativity and professional baking talent by submitting a Gingerbread House.

Business Division: Show off your creativity as a team and get your business name out there at the same time!
