• Hen-Keeping Ordinance Gets Unanimous Approval In Woodridge (patch.com) — Woodridge residents in single-family homes will now be allowed to keep hens under a newly approved village ordinance, following an 18‑month pilot program and supportive community survey. The rules cap flocks at six hens, ban roosters, and set detailed coop size, placement, cleanliness, and permitting requirements, including a $50 annual license fee due each May 1.
