Lisle-Woodridge Fire District to Host Sept. 11 Remembrance Ceremony
The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m.at the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District Station #1.

Woodridge residents, families and guests are encouraged to attend a 9/11 remembrance ceremony Sept. 11 to remember the terrorist attacks that occurred in 2001.
The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m.at the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District Station #1, 1005 School St., Lisle, according to the Village of Woodridge.
The event is hosted by the Village of Lisle and the Lisle Woodridge Fire District.

Mayor Gina Cunningham, Mayor Joe Broda, Fire Chief Thomas Freeman, VFW Post 1578 representatives and other dignitaries will attend to honor the victims and first responders who died in the attacks.
The Woodridge Police Honor Guard and the Lisle Woodridge Fire Department Honor Guard will post colors and conduct a 21-gun salute.
