New 'Zoup!' Soup Eatery Opens in Woodridge Just in Time for Fall

The new location opens each day at 11 a.m.

WOODRIDGE, IL – Woodridge welcomed a new restaurant this month that'll surely keep residents warm as the season transitions to fall.

Popular soup chain, Zoup! opened a new location on Sept. 15 in the Grove Parcel shopping plaza at 1001 W. 75th St., according to a company news release. The eatery touts 12 rotating soups daily and also serves up salads and sandwiches.

"Zoup! started with two simple discoveries our founders made while building their first company, which made soup and spice mixes for restaurants," the company's mission statement says. "That original business gave the partners kitchen-door access to top chefs and managers at hundreds of restaurants."

Company representatives said that those partnerships affirmed what they'd suspected all along.

"First, that really good soup is hard to find. And, second, that soup has powerful intangible qualities that elicit feelings of comfort, warmth and well-being for many people," they said.
