WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Police Department hosted an open house July 28 at the police station, in response to an outpouring of support for local police following the Dallas police incident.

Woodridge police thanked the community and Woodridge families for their support.

The open house featured a tour of the station, squad car demonstrations for kids, and a meet and greet with local police officers.

The village also hosted an Ecumenical Service event to help bring the community closer together and to show united support for law enforcement officers and a desire for a united peace.
