Project Update: IDOT Lag Halts Roadwork on Woodridge Drive

Woodridge Drive roadwork is at a halt, thanks to pending state approval for necessary sewer repairs.

The construction project involves the stretch of Woodridge Drive between 75th Street and Center Drive.

"Due to additional repairs that were needed to the road base and a storm sewer, the project has been on hold until approval from the Illinois Department of Transportation for these additional repairs," said an update from village officials. "IDOT approval is expected shortly and the project should be substantially complete in two to three weeks."

The road will remain open, but delays are expected. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible.
