Sex Offender Map 2015: Homes to Watch in Woodridge This Halloween

Woodridge currently has 16 registered sex offenders listed on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.

Fourteen are living in the village, one is incarcerated in the Illinois Department of Corrections, and one is out of state and hasn’t maintained law-required registration, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.

Woodridge police say Neal J. Johnson, 56, has beem missing for many years. His last known address when he was released from incarceration was in Woodridge, but he hasn’t registered and is listed as non-compliant. Johnson was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. His victim was younger than 18 at the time of the offense.

Registered sex offenders are not allowed to pass out candy on Halloween. They may not appear in a Halloween costume or other child-centered holiday character, such as Santa or the Easter Bunny, in public. However, registered sex offenders may wear Halloween costumes in their homes, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
