Submit Nominations For Woodridge Community Recognition Program

WOODRIDGE, IL — The Village of Woodridge encourages residents to submit nominations for the Community Recognition Program. If you know someone or an organization deserving of recognition for providing positive contributions within the Woodridge community, the village said they're accepting nominations until Sept. 25.

Every year, the village recognizes people and organizations in the community that provide positive contributions within Woodridge.

Nominations are now being accepted for the following categories:

• Citizen
• Business
• Association
• Employee
• Youth (ages under 21)

The village said the Woodridge Intergovernmental Council reviews the nominations and recommends candidates to the village board for consideration.
