Teen On Bike Hit And Killed While Crossing 75th Street: Police
Woodridge police officers were called to a report of a bicyclist who was hit in the eastbound lane while trying to cross Friday night.

WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Police Department with help from the Metropolitan Emergency-Response and Investigation Team (MERIT) is investigating after a teen bicyclist was hit and killed by a car while trying to cross 75th Street at Friday night, the police department said in a news release. According to police, the 15-year-old was hit by a car in the 1500 block of W. 75th Street at 8:25 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bicyclist who was hit in the eastbound lane while trying to cross, and found that the teen had succumbed to injuries.
Several vehicles appeared to be involved in the crash, the news release said.
