Tennis and Pickleball Courts Reopen In Woodridge
Hobson Corner Park now has four tennis courts and four pickleball courts, the Woodridge Park District said.
WOODRIDGE, IL — Tennis and pickleball courts at Hobson Corner Park are now open, according to the Woodridge Park District. The park now has four tennis courts and four pickleball courts, the park district said, adding that recent construction included converting one of the tennis courts into four pickle ball courts. In addition, new fencing was installed, and crews completed line striping the remaining four courts for both pickleball and tennis.
You can also take your pick from the tennis courts at Forest Glen, Westminster and Seven Bridges Park. The courts are open from sunrise until 10 p.m., and lights are available for evening play, the park district said.
On Friday, the park district said Hobson Corner Park Splash Pad was back open. The splash pad, located at 2910 Hobson Road, is now open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily with a maximum capacity of 25 people and a time limit.

However, Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Park remains closed for the season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the park district said, adding that they're using this time to reinvest in the aquatic park for a successful reopening in 2021. In a Facebook comment, the park district said that staff temporarily filled the pools with water to "complete construction testing of the newly replaced filtration system."
