Trick or Treat Hours Set for Woodridge

Help your children have a fun and safe Halloween.

Is your costume ready? Is your candy supply full? It will soon be time to gather up your little ghosts and ghouls and head out for trick-or-treating in Elmhurst.

The Village of Woodridge has set this year’s trick or treat hours for 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

The Woodridge Police Department has provided the following safety tips.

For trick-or-treaters:

  • Remember to go out with friends and family
  • Never enter a stranger’s house
  • Make sure you can be seen
  • Be cautious of crossing streets.

For community members:

  • Obey the speed limit
  • Be alert for pedestrians
  • Call 9-1-1 if you observe any suspicious or dangerous behavior
