USA Today Football Rankings: Trojans 63rd, Mustangs 128th in State
Illinois and national rankings have been released for the 2013 high-school football season.
USA Today has released theirĀ national rankings of high-school football teamsĀ for the 2013 season, and of 579 teams in Illinois, theĀ Downers Grove North High School TrojansĀ are ranked 63rdĀ and theĀ Downers Grove South High School MustangsĀ are ranked 128th.
In the list,Ā Downers Grove North'sĀ offense is ranked 81stĀ in the state and their defense is ranked 49th; Downers Grove South's offense is ranked 95th and theirĀ defense is ranked 187th.
Nationally, the Trojans are ranked 1,227th; the Mustangs are 3,156th.

The top five IllinoisĀ teams according toĀ the ranking are: No. 1 Mt. Carmel, Chicago; No. 2 Loyola Academy, Wilmette; No. 3 Lincoln-Way East, Frankfort; No. 4 Glenbard West and No. 5 Neuqua Valley, Naperville.
