Week Ahead: Woodridge Park District's Family Camp Out

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Woodridge for the week of Aug. 5-9 

·      Monday, Aug. 5: There will not, repeat not be a Village of Woodridge Plan Commission meeting on Monday night. The next meeting is at 7:30 p.m. on August 19 at Village Hall.

·      Tuesday, Aug. 6: “The Woodridge Junior Woman's Club invites all local women to our Membership Social! It will be held on Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Village Greens Golf Course Clubhouse with free appetizers and a cash bar. We look forward to meeting some new women and to share what we have done and plan to do this year to benefit our community!”

·      Wednesday, Aug. 7: Walk-in student registration for new students (including non-pre-registered kindergarteners) in Woodridge District 68 runs from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at D68 schools. (Registration for returning students is Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

·      Thursday, Aug. 8: The Woodridge Village Board meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in the Werch Board Room. A complete agenda packet can be downloaded from the Village website here.

·      Friday, Aug. 9: It’s the Woodridge Park District’s Family Camp Out at Hawthorne Hill Woods right here in Woodridge! Events start with an evening cookout at 6:00 p.m., followed by campfire and marshmallows, and then a Saturday morning breakfast. More details and pricing here!
