Woodridge, IL — The Woodridge Public Library’s adult summer reading program kicked into high gear Tuesday night when trainers from the 9Round kick boxing club in Woodridge demonstrated techniques and discussed whole body fitness.

Club owner Cindy Sciaky discussed the benefits to the mind and body of undertaking kick boxing as a daily physical routine, supporting the summer reading focus of engaging in both reading for intellectual curiosity balanced with exercise or “daily physicality.”
