Woodridge Resident Charged With Murdering Aurora Man in Chicago
Miguel Vazquez, 26, of the 7900 block of Everglade Avenue, was charged with first-degree murder and possession of marijuana.

Chicago police have charged a Woodridge man with first-degree murder in connection with a shooting death on Chicago’s northwest side, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Police confirmed to Patch that Miguel Vazquez, 26, of the 7900 block of Everglade Ave. in Woodridge, was charged with first-degree murder and possession of marijuana.
He was booked into Cook County jail Saturday and held without bond, according to the Cook County Sheriff's website.

Vazquez is accused of shooting Robert Solomon, 33, of the 400 block of Forest Avenue in Aurora, according to the Sun-Times.
Solomon was killed around 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 4300 block of West Dickens Street in Chicago. Solomon was found dead on the scene, according to the report.

An autopsy determined he died of gunshot wounds to the chest and his death was ruled a homicide.
Vazquez was scheduled to appear in court Monday, according to the Cook County Sheriff's website. He is again scheduled to appear in court Aug. 25.
