Woodridge Police Reports: Burglary, Theft, Property Damage

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through Oct. 9

The following information is courtesy of the Woodridge Police Department.

A theft occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 2 in the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone made entry into an apartment and removed cash and other miscellaneous items.

A criminal damage to property occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Oct. 2 and 5 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 1500 block of Linden Circle. Someone broke the front window of a home under construction.

A theft of bicycle occurred sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 2500 block of Chelsea Court. Somoene removed a bicycle from the porch of a residence.

At approximately 3:10 p.m. Oct. 6, Angelica Lopez Herrera, 19 of the 2000 block of Prentiss, Downers Grove, was charged with retail theft after removing miscellaneous items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.

A theft was reported to have occurred Oct. 7 from the parking lot of 3 Plaza Drive. Someone removed a weed blower from a landscaping trailer.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported to have occurred Oct. 7 in the 2900 block of North Creek Drive. Someone removed a chainsaw from a parked truck.
