Woodridge Police Reports: Property Damage, Theft, Burglary

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through July 29.

A criminal damage to property occurred between 10 a.m. July 21 and 6:30 p.m. July 22 in the 3100 block of Fox Ridge Court. Someone broke the glass in a sliding patio door at the rear of a residence.

A theft occurred between noon July 22 and 11:17 a.m. July 25 at a business in the 7400 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone stole a bank deposit that had been secured in a desk in the office area of the business. Total value of the deposit was approximately $1131.50.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. July 26 in the 1500 block of 75th Street. Someone smashed out the passenger side front window and stole a purse that had been left in the front seat area.

A criminal damage to property occurred at approximately 8:47 p.m. July 28 at Janes Avenue Park, 8001 Janes Ave. Someone saw a man jump onto the hood of his car, leaving a large dent and scratch on the hood.
