Woodridge Police Reports: Resisting Police, Burglary, Property Damage

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through Nov. 13.

A burglary occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 7700 block of Dalewood Parkway. Someone made entry into an unlocked shed, located in the back yard of a residence, and removed a power washer.

At approximately 10:57 a.m. Nov. 7, Lenard Myles, 47 of the 7900 block of Woodward Avenue in Woodridge, was charged with resisting/obstructing a police officer, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and loud muffler following a traffic stop at Woodridge Drive at Meadowdale Lane.

A theft of gas occurred at approximately 3:19 p.m. Nov. 7 at Thornton’s Gas Station, 2401 63rd St. Someone pumped $31.60 worth of gasoline and left without paying.

A criminal damage to vehicle occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Nov. 8 and 7:15 a.m. Nov. 9 in the 7600 block of Orchard Lane. Someone damaged the driver’s side tires of a parked vehicle.

A criminal damage to vehicle occurred at approximately 8:09 p.m. Nov. 11 in the parking lot of the Woodridge Public Library, 3 Plaza Drive. Someone flattened the driver’s side tires of a parked vehicle.

A theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Nov. 11 and 7:40 a.m. Nov. 12 in the 3400 block of 83rd Street. Someone removed the rear license plate from a parked vehicle.

A retail theft occurred at approximately 3:01 p.m. Nov. 12 at Kohl’s, 1001 7th St. A man removed a jacket without paying.
