Woodridge Police Reports: Thefts, Home Burglary, Car Burglary

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through June 3.

A residential burglary occurred sometime between 3:20 and 4:08 p.m. May 28 in the 3200 block of 83rd Street. Someone entered an unlocked residence and stole a handgun.

A theft occurred sometime between 3:20 and 5 p.m. May 28 at Cypress Cove, 8301 Janes Avenue. Someone stole an unattended iPhone.

A theft occurred sometime between 4:45 and 5:15 p.m. May 28 at Cypress Cove, 8301 Janes Avenue. Someone stole an unattended backpack. The backpack contained an iPhone, wallet with credit cards and driver’s license, jewelry and car keys.

At approximately 12:38 a.m. May 29, Zachary Paskvan, 21 of the 1900 block of Nottingham Road in Woodridge, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Woodward Avenue at Harcourt Drive.

A theft occurred sometime between 3 and 4:15 p.m. May 30 at Cypress Cove, 8301 Janes Avenue. Someone stole two iPhones from unattended backpacks.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 5 p.m. May 30 and 10:30 a.m. May 31 in the 8400 block of Andrea Lane. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet containing credit cards and an iPad.

A theft occurred sometime between 11 and 11:30 a.m. June 2 in the 1200 block of Internationale Parkway. A cell phone was inadvertently left in an employee restroom, and when the owner went back to retrieve it, it was missing.
