Woodridge Public Library Plans To Reopen Early July
Guests will soon be able to come into the Woodridge Public Libary and get books, DVDs, other materials, and use library resources.

WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Public Library is planning to reopen in early July for in-person visits, the library announced Thursday in a news release. Guests will be able to come into the libary and get books, DVDs, other materials, and use library resources, according to the news release. However, due to the mandated building capacity limits and safety precautions related to the coronavirus, visitors should be aware that extended visits won't be possible during the initial phase of the library's reopening, the news release said.
Currently, Woodridge Public Library cardholders can request materials and receive library items through a contactless process. Cardholders can request materials, wait for an email confirmation notifying them that items are ready, and then drive to the library for curbside pickup, where staff will put items in their trunk, the news release said.
In addition, the library is providing fun and entertaining programs directly to residents through new virtual programs. Most programs require only a device and internet connection to participate, and registration is required via the Library's Event Calendar to receive program invites and links.
