School Shooting Message Brings Uniformed Police To Yorkville HS
The message originated from a juvenile who does not attend Yorkville High School, police said.

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville police said there was no credible threat but noted that uniformed police were present at Yorkville High School and Yorkville High School Academy on Friday after a social media post caused alarm.
Police became aware Friday morning of a social media message stating that anyone who knows anything about a potential school shooting in Yorkville should notify someone.
Police said that message came from a juvenile who was identified but does not attend Yorkville High School. Police investigated and determined "that at no time were there a threat to any schools in Yorkville."
