Yorkville Family Sharing Love with Dollars to Honor Mike Morris

The family of Mike Morris is celebrating his birthday on Sept. 25 with Free Love, One Dollar to spread kindness in his memory.

A Yorkville family is looking to share and spread kindness to honor their brother and son, Mike Morris, on what would have been his 34th birthday on Sept. 25.

In 2008 Andi Morris, Aurora University ’13, went out with her brother, Mike, on his mission to do something positive and a little spontaneous.

Mike place $1 bills in envelopes decorated with feel-good phrases and the two delivered the envelopes to cars in a Bolingbrook nursing home parking lot.

His family decided to honor his memory on his birthday by repeating Free Love, One Dollar on Sept. 25 last year.

And this year they are planning to do it again.

According to the Free Love, One Dollar Facebook page there are over 800 individuals who have signed on to participate, from all over the U.S. and even outside the country.
