2 'Endangered' Teens Missing From Yorkville After Leaving Group Home: Police
Each of the girls, ages 14 and 17, has "a condition that places her in danger," according to a Silver Search post.

YORKVILLE, IL — Two teenage girls from Yorkville were reported missing and endangered Sunday, according to police.
Destinee N. Britton, 14, and 17-year-old Mia Pettis were both last seen at 11:09 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Bridge and Park streets in Yorkville, according to two alerts shared on Facebook at the request of Yorkville police.
Each of the girls has "a condition that places her in danger," the posts said. Illinois State Police reportedly activated endangered missing person advisories for the girls.

Yorkville police said both teens were seen leaving a group home in Yorkville with their belongings, "and have posted to social media they are in Chicago as of Sunday 12/14." They were last seen walking east towards Route 47 after leaving the residence with "multiple duffel bags." Police said both girls have run away in the past and are known to make their way to the Chicago area.
Britton is 5-foot-1, weighs about 150 pounds and has brown hair. She was wearing a red coat with fur around the hood, black and white checkered pants and light-colored shoes. She also had a pink backpack and dark-colored duffel bag. Pettis is 5-foot-3, weighs about 200 pounds and has black hair. She was last seen wearing a white coat, gray and black checkered pants, and black shoes. She had two dark-colored bags, the alert and Yorkville police said.

Police did not know if they have a phone with them.
