• Local communities receive road funding from state - LaGrange Standard and News (lagrangenewsonline.com) — Butler is set to receive $540,000 in state matching funds for local road and bridge work through Indiana’s Community Crossings program, part of more than $8.7 million awarded regionally. Lawmakers say the grants will help smaller communities like Butler tackle crucial maintenance and upgrades that might otherwise be delayed, with local governments required to provide matching dollars.
