Shortly after the first of the year, the Fishers Police Department began investigating several thefts involving unattended vehicles. Officers assigned to the Crime Reduction Unit, the Criminal Investigations Division, Patrol, and Intel launched an extensive investigation resulting in the identification and arrest of two suspects. As a result of this investigation officers recovered three stolen vehicles and a large amount of stolen property related to twelve separate victims.
The Fishers Police Department would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to remove all items of value and never leave their vehicle unlocked and unattended.
