• Friends of the Frankfort Library Announce 2026 Concert Series Lineup (clintoncountydailynews.com) — Frankfort residents can start planning now for the Friends of the Frankfort Library’s 2026 Concert Series, with season tickets going on sale December 15 for $30. Individual $12 tickets follow on January 5, featuring performances by GIZA, Michael Kelsey, and Back Porch Pickers. Proceeds support library programs, with specific venues and times to be announced closer to each date.
   

• Buchanan: Communities in Senate District 7 Receive More Than $2.5 Million (clintoncountydailynews.com) — Frankfort will receive $449,702.50 through Indiana’s Community Crossings Matching Grant Program to help repair local roads and bridges. The funding is part of more than $2.5 million awarded to Senate District 7 communities. Local leaders can now plan transportation improvements that should directly affect how Frankfort residents drive around town.
   

• Scholarships Available for Future Educators (thepaper24-7.com) — Future teachers in Frankfort and across Indiana can now apply for the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship, which offers up to $10,000 a year for four years. Backed by State Rep. Mark Genda of Frankfort and other lawmakers, the program supports students who commit to teaching in Indiana, with applications open online through Feb. 28, 2026.
