• Dec. 11: Huntertown Town Council struggles with salary ordinance; orders new computer software (fwbusiness.com) — Huntertown residents may soon see changes in town salaries, software systems, and town boundaries as the council debates a 2026 salary ordinance, approves a major BS&A software upgrade, and opens annexation talks for 22 acres near Cascata. These moves could affect town services, property tax stability, and future high-value housing development, with key decisions expected at the Dec. 15 meetings.
   

• Dec. 11: Huntertown Family Park gets $10,000 grant; transfer of park to the town discussed (fwbusiness.com) — Huntertown’s town council has approved a $10,000 grant toward a new climbing structure at Huntertown Family Park, moving Phase Two of the playground closer to completion. Council and park leaders are also beginning early talks about eventually transferring the 27-acre park to town ownership, which could open more funding options while volunteers continue running events like Huntertown Heritage Days.
