• Edward L. Durcholz, 86, Jasper (duboiscountyfreepress.com) — Jasper is mourning the passing of 86-year-old Edward L. Durcholz, a lifelong farmer and longtime area resident who died Tuesday surrounded by family. He leaves behind children and grandchildren in Jasper and Ireland, Indiana, and was active in St. Mary Catholic Church and the Ireland Sportsman Club. Funeral Mass and visitation are set for Monday in Ireland.
