Indianapolis Ranked Third Cheapest City To See Concerts

MORE: How Wanderu ranked Indianapolis as one of the cheapest destinations for those looking to see an A-list star's concert.

Good news for those who enjoy the rare (or frequent) concert. Bus and train travel website Wanderu has listed Indianapolis as the third-cheapest destinations for concert goers across the U.S. This was determined by comparing and studying concert ticket prices in the 47 U.S. cities where A-list artists often perform, Wanderu said in a statement to Patch.

Wanderu analyzed a number of A-list artist tours such as Lady Gaga (performing at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Nov.5), Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, and Kendrick Lamar in order to determine pricing trends based on various factors including public interest, venue fees, accommodation costs and purchasing power of the region. The website then created a ranking of 47 cities, and Indianapolis came in at #44 with an average ticket price of $77.62.

If you think that price is a lot - then don't go to Los Angeles to see a big concert. You'll end up forking over around $127.57 - $50 dollars more than Indy's price.
