Administered by United Way and distributed through Link to Hope and the Poor Handmaids, the fund will cover immediate and short-term housing costs while families secure permanent options.
   

• Gasoline prices take a slight jump in Indiana (max983.net) — Drivers in Plymouth are seeing the cheapest gas in Marshall County at $2.79 a gallon, even as Indiana’s average price has ticked up slightly to $2.81. Prices remain lower than a month and year ago, with analysts expecting relatively low costs to continue into the new year barring major disruptions.
   

• Two In Marshall County Arrested For Firearm, Drug Charges (inkfreenews.com) — Marshall County deputies responded Sunday night to reports of shots fired at a Fourth Road property in Plymouth, ultimately arresting two people after safely securing an RV behind the home. No injuries were reported, but officers say they recovered a shotgun, several types of illegal drugs, and paraphernalia, leading to multiple felony and misdemeanor charges for both suspects.
