City Of South Bend: City Suspends Thursday Trash Pickup Service

Due to the incoming inclement weather, the City of South Bend is suspending its trash services on Thursday, February 3. This impacts regular trash pickup, bulky item and Christmas tree pickups. The City will resume trash pickup on Friday, February 4. Weather forecasts are predicting heavy snow accumulations that will make residential streets impassable. While snowplow crews will be working around the clock, the City does not expect all residential streets to become passable until Friday.
