• Celebrating The 126th Year Of The Christmas Bird Count (timesuniononline.com) — Bird lovers in and around Warsaw are invited to join the Tippecanoe Audubon Society’s Christmas Bird Count on Saturday, Dec. 27, covering a 7.5‑mile radius north of town near Oswego and Lake Tippecanoe. Volunteers of all experience levels can help track winter bird populations, with flexible hours, loaner equipment, and guidance from experienced leaders available by advance registration.
   

• 2026 Mira Awards Finalists Announced (techpoint.org) — A Warsaw-based organization, Plug and Play, has been named a Community Impact Award finalist in the 2026 Mira Awards, spotlighting local contributions to Indiana’s tech ecosystem. The statewide honors recognize 106 tech and innovation finalists, with winners to be announced at an April 24 gala in Carmel. Warsaw residents can take pride in seeing their community represented among Indiana’s leading innovators.
   

• Bourbon Woman Arrested On Drug Charges (inkfreenews.com) — A recent traffic stop by a Warsaw police officer led to drug-related charges against a Bourbon resident after suspected methamphetamine paraphernalia was found while she was transporting someone to the hospital. The woman was booked into Kosciusko County Jail and later released on her own recognizance, with an initial court hearing set for early January in connection with the Warsaw stop.
