Westfield in brief — December 9, 2025 (youarecurrent.com) — Westfield residents have a busy stretch ahead, from this weekend’s Performing Arts Holiday Festival at Westfield High School to a new stormwater billing system that now requires setting up XPress Bill Pay accounts. You’ll also find food drives, scholarships, job fairs, civic surveys, and several ongoing programs from Westfield Washington Schools, the fire department, and Hamilton County agencies that invite your participation.
   

2. Leaders break ground on massive, $105 million development coming to Westfield (wthr.com) — A $105 million Grand on Main development is officially underway in downtown Westfield, bringing hundreds of apartments, new shops, offices, and a large parking garage by late 2027. City-backed economic development bonds and TIF support are helping fund the project, which leaders say will boost walkability, density, and energy in the core of Westfield.
   

3. 2026 Mira Awards Finalists Announced (techpoint.org) — Westfield residents can cheer on local startup Capturely and founder Rob Eyler, who are finalists for Startup of the Year and Rising Entrepreneur of the Year in Indiana’s 2026 Mira Awards. The statewide tech honors spotlight innovators from across Indiana, with winners to be announced at an April gala in Carmel.
   

4. Indiana Football Coaches Association Senior and Junior All-State teams (indystar.com) — Several Westfield High School standouts earned spots on the Indiana Football Coaches Association Senior and Junior All-State teams, highlighting the program’s strong season. The extensive statewide list recognizes top players by class from schools across Indiana, giving local fans a sense of how Shamrocks stack up against elite competition.
