Ames Library Committee to Review Leases for Temporary Locations After Hastings Deal Falls Through

The Ames Library Board of Trustees plans to allow an executive committee to review leases for temporary library locations after a plan to rent the former Hastings store fell through.

The board meets 7 p.m. tonight and allowing the executive committee to review the leases for potential location is on the agenda.

The trustees expect that the library will be closed between Nov. 16 and Dec. 10 so that the $20 million library renewal project can begin.
