• Researchers Look At Link Between Bird Flu And Humans (kiwaradio.com) — Researchers in Ames at Iowa State University helped uncover how the H5N1 bird flu virus can infect mammary glands, including those in humans, raising concerns for farm workers and raw-milk consumers. Their findings suggest raw milk and some cheeses could pose added risk, and they’re calling for more testing and research to prevent the virus from becoming more dangerous.
