CAPER Available for Public Review

AMES, Iowa – The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) is available for a 15-day public comment period that will end on Friday, Sept. 21. The CAPER is a document required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide Ames citizens information on the City of Ames’ achievements during the past year using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

Copies of the CAPER are available for review Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Department of Planning and Housing, Room 214, Ames City Hall, 515 Clark Ave. The document is also available at the Ames Public Library, 515 Douglas Ave.

The Ames City Council will hold a public hearing on the CAPER as part of its regularly scheduled City Council meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25 in City Council Chambers, City Hall.

 

Those in need of special accommodations for a disability or language translation at the City Council meeting should contact Vanessa Baker-Latimer, Department of Planning and Housing, at (515) 
239-5400 or the TDD at (515) 239-5133 at least three business days in advance of the meeting. Disabled people attending the meeting should access City Hall through the east door and take the elevator to the Council Chambers on the second floor.
