Tiffany Wingert Hired as Story Medical’s New Director of Communications and Development
PRESS RELEASE
NEVADA, IOWA (9/5/2012) – Story County Medical Center announced that Tiffany Wingert will become Story County Medical Center's new communications and development director.
“I am proud to be part of the Story Medical team,” said Wingert after only two days on the job. “I’ve missed the hospital environment. Story Medical has a close, family-oriented culture that is perfect for providing the best care. I feel like I’m home again.”

Wingert will lead all internal and external communications and support the Foundation and Auxiliary programs.
“We are very fortunate to find someone with Tiffany’s background and enthusiasm,” said Todd Willert, Story Medical Administrator. “We’re delighted to have her as a part of the Story Medical family."

Wingert has more than 10 years of healthcare marketing and communications experience. Her most recent position was that of Marketing Communications Coordinator at Iowa Home Health Care in Urbandale (an Iowa Health Systems affiliate). Prior to that, she enjoyed seven years in the community relations department at Mary Greeley Medical Center. She has experience in all facets of communications, including graphic design, social media, copy writing, strategic planning, employee relations, coordinating public events, and much more.
Wingert is a native of Illinois; her husband is a native of Nebraska. They met in the middle and have lived in Ames since the early 1990’s. They have two very active children who keep them on their toes and always amused.
