Cruise for a Cure Ride Sunday
The event sponsored by the Ames Professional Firefighter Local 625 Cancer Fund will raise funds for cancer awareness and research.
Anyone who wants to go for a ride and fundraise for cancer can join the Ames Local 625 Cruise for a Cure Sunday.
The Ames Professional Firefighter Local 625 Cancer Fund invites all hotrods, muscle cars, motorcycles and everyday cars to join the ride through central Iowa.
The ride begins at the Story County Administrative Courthouse (900 6th Street) in Nevada. Registration is atnoon and the cruise will begin at 1 p.m.

The route will take cruisers from Nevada to Cambridge to Elkhart to Maxwell to Hickory Grove Park near Colo. Food, music and fun will follow.
