Election 2012: Ames Residents Warned About Rules for Campaign and Other Signs
City of Ames recently reminded residents about the rules for temporary yard signs.

As school events and the election heats up, more and more signs are going up around town.
The City of Ames recently issued a press release to remind people of city sign rules.
Basically signs have to be on the yard side of the sidewalk about 15 feet from the curb, never block the view of on-coming traffic and be posted less than 90 days in a row.Â
