Join the Ames Area Amateur Astronomers for its annual Star-B-Q 3 p.m. Saturday.
The event, featuring loads of food, music, astronomy, and fun, will be held at McFarland Park (56461 180th Street) northeast of Ames. The public is invited to attend.
The June program will be “Robots in Space II.” The group will review some of the most interesting and exciting robotic space exploration missions flown by NASA.
