May 17 Legislative Wrap Up Session

The Legislative Wake-up sponsored by the League of Women Voters has been cancelled because the Legislature will still be in session.   Instead the League invites the public to “Legislative Wrap-up:What has the Iowa State Legislature been up to this year?”  on Thursday evening, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. at 1416 20^th street, Northminster Presbyterian Church.   Local legislators will share their perspective on legislative action taken this year.    The League of Women Voters is a member organization open to anyone.   LWV is the organization where your hands-on work to safeguard democracy leads to civics improvement!  Join LWV and be directly involved in shaping the important issues to keep our community strong.  For more information go to http;//www.ameslwv.org
