Quilt Show

The Garden Quilt Show returns to Reiman Gardens for a third year to be held over three days this summer on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. The goal is to encourage the art of quilting, display a fabulous selection of garden themed quilts created by talented Midwesterners, and provide instruction, demonstrations, and inspiration for both novice and experienced quilters.

A juried quilt show with quilts from artists and guild members from across the Midwest will be on display. Visit the vendors’ marketplace offering quilting patterns, books, fabrics, notions and sewing machines.

The Quilt Show will have a wonderful selection of lectures and classes taught byStephanie Brandenburg, the Quilt Show’s featured instructor. Half day classes include “Quilting Decoupage” and “Apron Making”, and the lecture is entitled, “From Concept to Quilt”. All lectures and classes include admission to Reiman Gardens and the Garden Quilt Show. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for the lectures and classes and can be made on our website,www.reimangardens.com

Admission includes access to the Garden Quilt Show as well as all the Gardens’ features: the summer blooms, the Nature Connects: LEGO® brick sculpture show, the Conservatory display, entitled The Wonderful Wacky World of Rube Goldberg, the Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing, and the Gift Shop.
