High Wind Warning For Ames

Be careful out there this afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning and a hazardous weather outlook for areas including Ames.

This afternoon there is a 20 percent chance of snow in Ames, and wind gusts could reach 46 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, the wind should die down a bit, but the forecast still says winds could gust as high as 32 miles per hour.
