Nevada Man Charged with Sex Abuse for Relationship with Minor
Ames police arrested the Nevada man on a warrant Tuesday. Charges were filed by the Huxley Police Department.

A Nevada man was arrested in Ames Tuesday on a warrant for third-degree sexual abuse.
Ricky Huerta, 22, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a girl under the age of 16, according to Huxley Police Chief Mark Pote.
Pote said the relationship was consensual and took place in 2011. Third-degree sexual abuse is a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Huerta remained in the Story County Jail Friday on a $10,000 bond.

Taylor Bleeker, 19, Martin Hall, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor; and possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor; at 11:09 p.m.

Ricky Huerta, 22, Nevada, was charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C Felony, at 7:45 a.m.
Sept. 27
Nathan Guske, 19, S. 16th Street, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and violation of a drug tax stamp act, both Class D felonies, at 8:40 p.m.
Peter Montalbano, 20, 11th Street, was charged willful failure to appear at 2:30 p.m.
James Morrison, 23, Coconino Road, was charged with public intoxication, second offense at 2:55 a.m.
Brandin Petree, 18, S. Hazel, was charged with simple assault at 12:45 p.m.
Jeremy Whatley, 18, Roland, was charged with violation of a drug tax stamp act and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, both Class D felonies, at 8:40 p.m.
Sept. 28
Kevin Stromert, 22, Dickinson, was charged with public consumption at 12:18 a.m.
