Ames residents collaborate for quilt replica of iconic Iowa bridge (desmoinesregister.com subscription) — A collaborative quilt exhibit inspired by Des Moines’ University Avenue Bridge is now on public display at Northcrest Community in Ames, created by more than 20 central Iowa fiber artists, including several Northcrest residents.
